24 Hour Special: Personal Mentoring

Friday, August 24th, 2007 by Aaron Brandon | News, Online Business, Product

One of my blog readers put me up to this!

Until now I have never offered any service for my blog readers and customers to contact me.

But, for 24 hours, I’m offering a personal mentoring service to 5 people.

However, you must be able to stay motivated and ready to start an internet business, or have an already existing online business which you want me to help you work on. I will give you a personal coaching e-mail address which I will answer Monday-Friday. You’ll have the ability to ask as many questions as you’d like about online business.

But, instead of accepting payments through PayPal, I will accept 5 people into my personal mentoring program when you purchase Life Management 101. This is what you’ll have to do:

Go to: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/jamesdbrausch

Once there, purchase:

5 copies of Life Management 101 for: 1 months time of personal mentoring with me. ~$55

10 copies of Life Management 101 for: 2 months time of personal mentoring with me. ~$110

or 15 copies of Life Management 101 for: 4 months time of personal mentoring with me. ~$165

or 100 copies of Life Management 101 for: 1 years time of personal mentoring with me. ~$1100

Once you’ve purchased using one of the four options, just forward your receipt to [special over]. I will then reply to you with an e-mail address where you can reach me Monday-Friday.

Want to quit your day job? Earn your freedom? Run an online business? What are you waiting for?

Look at the Losers

Thursday, August 23rd, 2007 by Aaron Brandon | News, Online Business

If you’ve been staying up to date at JamesBrausch.com, you’ll know that he’s currently the top seller of CD’s at cdbaby.com for the month (at the moment).

Here’s the link to that entry:  http://www.jamesbrausch.com/?p=746

But what’s keeping him up there? He’s not even selling music like the wrest of the folks?

James is constantly coming up with irresistible offers on his blog which are raking in a number of sales each day.  Right now he’s giving people access to his ranking factors course which isn’t even available anymore. But, he’s offering it for those who purchase 20 copies of his Life Management 101 CD. That’s great marketing in the works.

I decided to do a bit of research on the CD Baby contest. Somehow I ended up on a forum. A forum with a few positive artists (like James) along with a number of losers in the mix. James mentioned an amount of CD’s which he’d been able to sell in one day before on Amazon. This caused one contestant to “give up”, or at least it sounded that way.  He said “Again, after hearing James say he could move 200 CD’s in a day, it doesn’t seem realistic that the average CD Baby artist even has a shot… they might as well have just sent that email to the top 10 sellers and let them duke it out.”

That’s the typical kind of response you’ll receive in message boards and forums. Do you think a person with that kind of attitude is going to win? Of course not. James will win because he said he will. This person won’t because they’re being a baby and view James as some sort of threat or competition. My advice to this person would be to stay out of that forum. He’s probably spending too much time in that forum, and not enough time promoting his album.

For the record, James did give everyone in the forum a bit of guidance. I’m sure many were grateful for that.

Simplify Your Life

Monday, August 20th, 2007 by Aaron Brandon | Online Business

In a recent blog entry, I quoted some information I found useful in a book called Vagabonding. Well, there’s some more information from that book I’d like to share with my blog readers. They’re the three general methods to simplifying your life.

  • Stopping Expansion
  • Reining in your routine
  • Reducing Clutter

Rolf Potts the author (I know, weird name, right?) was right on target with those three methods.

He goes on to say that the easiest part of the process is stopping expansion. “you don’t add any new possessions to your life, regardless of how tempting they might seem.” “this rule applies to things like cars and home entertainment systems, but it also applies to travel accessories.”

That brings up another story. In the book The Four Hour Work Week by Timothy Ferriss, Tim says to pack as if your traveling for only a week, even if your leaving for several months. A recent video on his blog showed how he packed before taking a trip to Hawaii.

I recently took a trip down to California for a week. I used to pack as if I were going to be away for a lot longer than that. I decided to throw in two pairs of everything, throwing in light clothes that would be easy to pack. How did it turn out? Great! It made everything so easy, and I don’t have to check my bags at airports any longer.

How are you simplifying your life?

New Video: Clickheat

Tuesday, August 14th, 2007 by Aaron Brandon | News, Online Business

For the last couple weeks or so, I’ve been playing with a cool piece of web software called clickheat. It has actually proved to be useful for me. It tells me exactly where people are clicking on my websites. I’ve seen similar programs like clickheat where you’d have to pay a monthly subscription for, but clickheat is free. Here’s a video of the software in action:

http://www.aaronbrandon.com/videos/clickheat/clickheat.html

I wouldn’t have known about this software if it wasn’t for http://www.bettersoftware4free.com. There are many more videos there that demonstrate quality software applications that have been proven to work better than many windows programs. I urge you to check it out. It’s currently for sale for $49 and comes with a satisfaction guarantee.

Are You Time Poor?

Friday, August 10th, 2007 by Aaron Brandon | Online Business

That’s the term John Muir used for “people who were so obsessed with tending their material wealth and social standing that they couldn’t spare the time to truly experience the splendor of California’s Sierra wilderness.” - vagabonding

Hmm, I can think of many other examples of being “time poor”. One example of me being time poor was when I visited Mt. Rainier a few weeks ago for the first time. I decided to take a drive to a place called “paradise” which is the highest point you can drive to on Mt. Rainier. The only problem was just that. I drove there…and drove back. I can honestly say that I was time poor and didn’t spend enough time admiring all that the mountain had to give me. Staying in the car, getting out to eat or snap a few photos is a good example of being time poor.

I do plan to go back, maybe sometime this year. It seems like it would be a nice place to go camping, maybe to spend sometime with friends and family even.

What are you missing?

Nobody Wanted The Package?

Wednesday, August 8th, 2007 by Aaron Brandon | News, Online Business

I thought my offer was good enough… and still think it is. However, the reason for nobody buying the package may have been because a number of my blog readers already own the software and courses I was offering.

Oh well, that’s ok. Maybe I will save this package for another time.

Tomorrow

Monday, August 6th, 2007 by Aaron Brandon | News, Online Business

A blog reader asked me where I was last week because I didn’t write any blog entries. Well, I was in California since last Sunday helping out a family member. I simply didn’t feel like writing a blog entry last week since I had plenty of other things on my mind.

Anyway, I’ve decided to package a number of courses/software together and offer it for a very reasonable price tomorrow. This will only be available for one person, so stay tuned to the blog announcements, or feed.

If you want to be notified each time I post an entry, just fill out the form on the right by simply adding your name and e-mail address and click “Subscribe Now”. This package will be a one time offer.

Stay tuned…
