There are now less than 3 hours remaining for my new monthly newsletter.

Even James Brausch ordered my letter:

If you order right now, there’s a good chance you’ll get a copy of MuVar 2008 along with my newsletter.

You can read the rest about my special offer here:

Monthly Newsletter Update

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008 by Aaron Brandon | News, Online Business, Product

I’ve decided to update this special.

From now until Noon pacific time on Thursday, the first 10 ten customers who order my monthly newsletter for $8.33 (just $100 for the first year) will receive both “MuVar 2008″ and the “Earn An Income By Publishing Your Own Printed And Mailed Newsletter” course.

The March issue will contain the following:

- Sell Without Selling
Is it possible?  Yes.  Would you rather have a chat with a used car salesman, or your good friend?  My take on this.

- Adding your signature
Have you added your signature to MuVar yet? If not, Why not? If you don’t know how, I’ve created a video so you can watch exactly how I created my signature, and added it to MuVar 2008.  Here’s what one of signatures looks like:

Does it look real to you?

- Procedure Optimization
I recently added a new procedure to my business system.  However, the part where interns and contractors had to report back by e-mail wasn’t very efficient.  I made a few modifications so reporting back is now a breeze.  I’ll show you how to implement my changes.

- A link to one of my latest courses.

- A video showing one of my latest site creations, but I’m still not revealing anything more than that right now…

To order, simply use the link below:

24 Hr Special, Monthly Newsletter, MuVar, and More!

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008 by Aaron Brandon | News, Online Business, Product

I’ve done it!

I made the decision to release a monthly newsletter!

It’s officially titled… “Aaron Brandon’s Online Business Newsletter”.

Each month I will be sending out my newsletter which will consist of traffic getting tips, copywriting tips, test results from multivariate and split tests, product creations techniques, and more.

The March issue will include a secret link to a presentation about a type of site I’ve been working on.  It’s not a search engine optimized site, nor is it a new blog.  It’s… a secret, but I’ll let you in on the secret site in this issue!

What else?  What if I included a link to one of my latest online how-to courses?  Would that be helpful to you?  Well, there’s one included in the March issue for you.

All of that and more will be included in the March issue, and that’s only the first issue!

This is how it will work.  Each issue will normally be $25 per month which is $300 per year.  But because this is the first time I’m releasing a newsletter as a product, you can subscribe for the first year for just $8.33 per month, which is only $100 per year.

But, I have yet to put the special into this special!

Because this is my new newsletter, I’d like to do the following….

Only in this special, I’m allowing anyone to sign up for the first two years, for just $250!  That’s only $10.41 per issue, for two years!  But wait, there’s more… :)   If you order right now for $250, I’ll throw in a copy of the brand new MuVar 2008 (a $300.00 value)!

Is $250, over your budget right now?  No problem!  If you still want to subscribe for the first year for $100, I’m throwing in the product “Earn An Income By Publishing Your Own Printed And Mailed Newsletter” but only for the first 25 orders.  (That’s the exact same product I used to create my newsletter.)

To sign up for only $8.33 per month for one year which includes Earn An Income By Publishing Your Own Printed And Mailed Newsletter (a $100.00 value), simply order using the link below.  Just make sure you include your shipping address in PayPal.  That will be the address I’ll send the newsletter and CD out to.

Product Creation Worry

Tuesday, February 26th, 2008 by Aaron Brandon | Articles, Distractions, Online Business, Product

Have you ever heard of “product creation worry”?  It happens prior to, or after someone creates a product.  They start worrying about the following:

  • What if someone doesn’t like the product?
  • What if the product is not top notch like some others?
  • What if someone complains, or wants a refund?
  • Is the product priced correctly?

These are all very common.  I’ve experienced them all before.  In fact, many of these things have crossed other product creation authors as well.  My best advice to conquering worry is this:

Don’t worry!  Don’t allow worry to stop you from releasing your creation.  Take action, and experience what comes, and your worries will go away.

The truth is…most of the things people tend to worry about don’t ever happen!  So why worry?  Get that product out there!

Overcoming Negativity

Tuesday, February 26th, 2008 by Aaron Brandon | Articles, Online Business

Every once in a while, I’ll run into a person who just isn’t the type of person I like to associate with.  They’ll complain about their money. They’ll complain about their car.  They’ll complain about… almost everything!

More often then not, it’s a friend or family member.  I know, that doesn’t sound very nice.  But it’s very common for your own friends and family members to be negative.

I know I titled this post as “overcoming negativity”.  If you found this post because YOU need to overcome YOUR negativity, well… continue reading.  However, I want to tell you that the negativity may not have really been caused by you.  You see, the truth is, the information and people around you that are negative, may in fact be the causers of your negativity.

Think about this:

You’re a self business entrepreneur – Do you see or hang out around other people complaining about their 9-5 jobs?  Don’t they like talking about how much their job sucks and what they’d like to do to their boss?  Do you have friends that do that around you?  If so, then you must take the correct action to resolve this.  Keep away from these types of people.  You’ll be much better off associating with other entrepreneurs with positive attitudes.

Do you tend to get stressed out when you watch the news?  Watching the news can easily cause you to act very negatively.  Why is that?  Well, it’s pretty rare for the media to report good news.  Most often, it’s the bad news that’s reported.  The bad news tends to grab more viewers attention.  It’s unfortunate, but true.

If you want to overcome negativity, this is your homework:    Stop watching/listening to/associating with any negative people.  Shut off the valve that spews any negativity into your life, and you may end up changing your life for the better!

Do You Use These Words?

Monday, February 25th, 2008 by Aaron Brandon | Articles, Online Business

Niche – recess: a small concavity
wordnet.princeton.edu/perl/webwn

Guru – Meditation master who has attained oneness with God and who initiates others into the spiritual path and guides them to liberation.
www.shoshoni.org/Glossary_Yoga_Terms.htm

PLR/Private Label Rights – * PLR – codice aeroportuale IATA dell’aeroporto civile di Pell City St. Clair (Stati Uniti)
it.wikipedia.org/wiki/PLR (Umm, some language I don’t understand, probably an abbreviate for something I don’t care to know about)

Private Label Rights – No definitions were found for private label right.

MRR – is the rate at which a given number of impressions over the period of a month are sold at.
www.onlineadvertising.net/glossary.html (Apparently there was a real definition for MRR before someone coined master resell rights?)

Master Resell Rights – No definitions were found for master resell rights.

Have you figured it out yet?  Most of these terms don’t even really exist!  They only mean something to a herd of (internet marketing) folks who don’t know a darn thing about marketing and business.  I was there once.  I thought the big online “guru’s” who used these terms somehow knew more than me.  The truth is, most coin these terms so they can appear smarter than the rest.  And you know what?  People buy into it.  It’s a sad reality, but I can’t stop it, but I can educate you about it.  Maybe it can help some of you take a look at things from the other side.

I really hope “internet marketers” don’t think of the big names as meditation masters.  That’s pretty outrageous if you think about it. :)

Be Creative, Dummy!

Monday, February 25th, 2008 by Aaron Brandon | Online Business, Product

I see it happening all around me.  A product I create gets created by someone else.  Someone else creates a product, and someone has the balls to make the same product.  Is that what you do?  Do you have no creativity in you?  You just have to create something that’s already out on the market?  That’s pretty selfish.  Put your thinking cap on before you get yourself in a frivolous lawsuit.

Here’s what I’m talking about:

CD/DVD products – This is just a type of product.  I recommend creating one. They’re super easy to create, and if you use a machine like Kunaki, it’s an easy ride.

Monthly Newsletter – This is also just a type of product.  I haven’t created one for this business yet, but it’s on my mind.  It can be extremely profitable.

DVD Cover Creation – This is a product I made.   If you need some help with making your DVD covers all fancy, you should definitely pick this up.  But if you already create information products, there’s no need for you to remake it.  In fact, I’ll save you some time and tell you it made the least sales compared to the rest of my products.  But it is a great product, and I highly recommend it if you want superior DVD case covers.

Blogcast Course – This is also a product I made.  How many others need to make a product on how to create a blog broadcast using Aweber?  This product is even on ClickBank, so you can simply refer others to my product and make a 50% commission.  But don’t bother recreating the same product so you don’t have to use my affiliate link.  That’s pretty ridiculous.

Use your brain please.

Want More Results?

Friday, February 22nd, 2008 by Aaron Brandon | News, Online Business, Test Results

Yesterday I released some of my test results.  Those who were on my blog announcement list received the password and were satisfied with my offer.  Those who decided not to join my list missed out.  Sabrina Jefferson understands the benefit to getting the password for protected posts.  They definitely aren’t worth missing.

I will be releasing more test results next week.  By now, you should know what action you need to take in order to receive the password.  You just need to be on my announcement list.  Just sign up using the form at the top right of this page, and hit the subscribe button.  Then make sure to look for the confirmation e-mail in your inbox or spam folder.  Click the verification link in the e-mail, and you’ll be set.

Next week I’ll be releasing more multivariate test results for my opt-in form.  There’s a new variable I added recently and it’s already showing results.  Think you might benefit from them?  Then subscribe to my blog announcement list, it’s that simple!

New Test Results…

Wednesday, February 20th, 2008 by Aaron Brandon | Conversion, News, Online Business

I was just taking a look at one of my MuVar tests and realized that a few variable versions had a shocking confidence rate.  A nice 99% confidence rate!  But what was even more shocking was that the two variable versions were completely different…

Not different as in the same variable with a slightly modified version…this test was pretty much like taking one version, then throwing the other one out the window.  This variable version only rarely gets tested by anyone… or even by the “guru” types.  In fact, I’ve never heard one of those so called “guru’s” ever mention this type of test variable.

It’s VERY powerful.

If you add this one variable version to some of your own tests, you’re pretty much guaranteed to make a shocking discovery.

I would like to share these test results with my readers.  However, because they have a certain value to them, I’d like to keep this private rather than using just a regular blog entry.

So this is what I’m going to do… I’m going to make a private, password protected blog entry on Thursday morning (Feb 21) including these test results.

I’ll be sending out the password to my blog announcement list a few hours prior to posting the blog entry.  Of course, that means if you aren’t currently on my blog announcement list, I won’t be sending you the password.

So, to ensure you get the password, you must fill out your first name and primary e-mail address in the form on the top right of my blog (just under my picture there), and click on the subscribe button.  Once you’ve done that, make sure you check your inbox for a confirmation e-mail so I know I have your permission to send you e-mail. (remember to check your spam folders if you can’t find it)

But, don’t try using those fake, temporary e-mail accounts just for getting the password.  Some readers have tried to scam me in the past in that sort of way.  That doesn’t fly with me.  I ban folks who do tricky things like that.  Please use a REAL e-mail account.

Alright, go sign up now before you forget… and I’ll be sending you an e-mail soon!

Thanks!

Just Another Internet Business Weblog?

Monday, February 18th, 2008 by Aaron Brandon | News, Online Business

Is this really just another internet business webblog? Or will it turn into something more?

http://www.MarkDRussell.com

I’ll let you find out.

That blog was created by one of my students… Mark D. Russell.  He has already gone hog wild and added a bunch of “things” to his blog.

His latest post is a video teaching how to create CSS rollover buttons without images.  It’s a pretty cool technique you can use for your own opt-in forms.  In fact, there’s no reason you shouldn’t be testing them out with MuVar 2008 to increase your opt-in rate.

I think my own copy of MuVar 2008 is on its way.   I can’t wait to begin using it!

Anyway, I really encourage you to check out Mark’s internet business blog for frequent updates.  I know he has some cool things up his sleeves that he’ll be posting about soon… so do whatever it is you do to stay up to date with websites and blogs.

Does anyone even use bookmarks and favorites still?  (I don’t even know!)

Here’s the link to his site again: Mark Russell

I’m taking the rest of the day off to hang out with my 2 year old nephew.  It’s a sunny day, so maybe we’ll head over to the park!

Valentines Day Special – 24 Hours

Thursday, February 14th, 2008 by Aaron Brandon | News, Online Business, Product

Yesterday I decided it was time to record a new version of my DVD case cover course.

There’s a market out there for this course.  I know it. How do I know? Because I still see a ton of awful DVD case covers for great products!

For any product, you should have a sales page. That page should be designed well, easily readable, and tested to make sure it pulls in profits.  Don’t you think a DVD case cover should be designed well too?  What good is the sales page when the product itself doesn’t look up to par?

Some must think I use Photoshop or some fancy software that professional designers use.  I don’t.  Even though I have used that software in the past, it isn’t necessary to learn for creating DVD case covers.  In fact, I don’t recommend Photoshop at all for this.  The software I use in the videos is open source, which means that you won’t have to pay for it.  It’s easy as pie, and there’s no learning curve because I show you every step of the way.

My course includes over one hour of video training.  It goes over each step: installing the software, creating the cover and insert, then the disk label.

But this isn’t some kind of template for your own printer.  I’ve tried that in the past.  Why would anyone want to print out labels and do slave work?  You could try printing your own covers for over a hundred DVD Cases, but good luck with that!

So here’s my offer:

Since it’s valentines day, I’m going to offer this for $20.  That’s lower than my usual 24 hour special price.  But act now because I’m raising the price after 24 hours to $50.

You have from now until 12 noon PST on Friday to get the special price.

Here’s where to order:

Amazing DVD Covers

Wednesday, February 13th, 2008 by Aaron Brandon | News, Online Business, Product

I figured it was about time to update my DVD Case Cover Creation course.  The previous course was on CD, and taught how to create DVD case covers using Adobe Fireworks.  There was a slight problem with that though.  The software I used in the course (Fireworks) was a 30-day trial, so if the software expired, you couldn’t create any more DVD case covers unless you purchased the software.

So I decided to re-record the course for 2008.  It is no longer necessary to download trial software as instructed in the old course.  There’s a new software application I use to create DVD case templates. It’s open source, so it’s free to use.

I also wanted to make this updated course downloadable.  So I’ve published the files, and I’ll likely release this course tomorrow as a 24 hour special.

Stay Tuned!
