That gave me a good laugh. 
Personally, I have:
- offered a family member to throw their television off a balcony.
- considered throwing my own television off a balcony while filming it to prove that it actually did work prior to its destruction. That didn’t happen because I didn’t feel like cleaning up the mess and closing off access to the area below to neighbors.
- been confused when friends ask me if I’ve seen such and such new show.
